October Cooking Class

Join us on Wednesday, October 30 at 9:30am for a Korean Cooking Class. The class is just $5 and includes the lesson, the recipes plus lunch.  

Jihyun Harris will teach us how to make the following dishes:

Jap Chae - Sweet potato noodle with vegetable
Bi Bim Bob - Rice with vegetable
Bul Go Gi - Soy source marinated beef

Sign up and pay at one of the Thursday meetings.  
Remember to bring an apron to the class if you want to help!

Cooking Classes - 2012/2013 Season

  • April: 
               Chinese cooking class led by Clare - Chinese dumplings,
               asparagus with salted egg, and sweet and soured pork ribs.
  • February:
               Mexican cooking class led by Martha and Adrianna.
  • January:
               Indian cooking class led by Himani Pal - Vegetarian and
               non-vegetarian dishes.
  • November:
               Italian cooking class led by Paola Maschio - Vegetable Risotto,
               a Simple Green Salad, and Biscotti.
  • October:
               Vegetarian cooking class led by Dona Albert - Harira-a spicy North
               African soup, Egg-Lemon Soup from Greece and a hearty Pumpkin
               and Black Bean Soup.
